On the verge of a new year it is a time to start new things. For me this year, I'm starting a blog with my cousin Holley. Holley and I are cousins...but truly more like sisters. There is almost exactly one year between us. She's younger but the more experienced mom. Her twins and foster son keep her busy. Holley also loves to scrapbook, paint, and design. I'm older (and bossier) with three kids (5, 3, & 1). I enjoy scrapbooking, organizing, and taking photos (although I need to take a class or two and get better at this). I'm also a homeschooler.

Our hope for this blog is to get organized so our homes function more efficiently, have a journal of our lives for posterity, keep accountable to each other and to the blogging universe, and to show two REAL moms with all the ups and downs. I love looking at blogs for teaching ideas, tips, before and afters and so much more. But have you ever felt like these bloggers were Super woman, and you just don't measure up? I have and I want this blog to be different. I want to be more transparent...showing you the best and the worse. My hope in doing so is that you'll feel validated in who you are. We are all created in the image of our creator. None of us are perfect. Let's just be honest and be our best.
